CARDI B ADDRESSES OFFSET ENGAGEMENT RUMORS Ifeanyi Amadi August 29, 2017 Entertainment Shortly before blazing the “MTV VMA Pre-Show” with a performance of “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B addressed the recent engagement rumors surrounding her relationship with Migos’ Offset. Speaking with MTV, Belcalis seemed to deny the marriage murmurs by breaking into song mid-interview. “Does ya see a ring on my ring finger?” she sang. “Boy, is you gon’ marry me?” Showing that her left ring finger was vacant, Bacardi went on to reveal that she does have wedding bell aspirations. “I’m a woman,” she said. “Every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children. It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can.” Bardi then shrugged off concerns when asked if any pressure has to be placed on Offset to pop the big question. “I don’t gotta put the pressure, you know what I’m saying?” she said. “I put it down. Ain’t no pressure, baby!” Earlier in the week, Real Cool Nation reported on Offset’s alleged proposal. According to multiple outlets, the “Bodak Yellow” star shared the article on Facebook with a caption that read: “Yes Yessss YEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!” That Facebook post has since become unavailable. Following their “Lick” collaboration, Cardi and Offset have been coy about their romance. “I don’t really date,” she recently told Wendy Williams. “I just have fun. We all have fun.” Last month, however, Bardi revealed a new chain that the Migos rapper bought her. Elsewhere during the MTV VMAs, Cardi made headlines once again, by voicing her support for Colin Kaepernick, the NFL player who knelt during the national anthem in protest of law enforcement injustice last season. “Colin Kaepernick,” she said. “As long as you kneel with us, we’re goin’ be standing for you, baby!” The former Super Bowl quarterback is currently out of a job, but his influence has proven to be strong. This year, many more NFL players, including Eric Reid and Marshawn Lynch have opted to kneel during the national anthem. This month, J. Cole also celebrated Kap. “Baltimore, the type of shit that’s happening here, don’t you think somebody should risk their whole livelihood and their whole life to talk about this shit even if it cost them they money, they job, they life?” said Cole. “Don’t that sound like Colin Kaepernick? Don’t that sound like what he doing?” Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Related Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
